1.0 TANZANIA FOREST SERVICES AGENCY (TFS)
Tanzania Forest Services (TFS) Agency as a semi-autonomous Government Agency was established through Government Notice No. 269 of 30th July, 2010. TFS establishment is supported by the Executive Agency Act (Cap. 245) as amended in 2009, the National Forest and Beekeeping Policies adopted in March 1998 and administered through the Forest Act Cap 323 R.E of 2002) and Beekeeping Act Cap 224 R.E of 2002 which provide the legal framework for the management of forests and bee resources.
1.1 FOREST ASSISTANT III - (10 posts)
1.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. To collect tree seeds;
ii. To carry out general nursery activities;
iii. To carry out routine maintenance of forests;
iv. To conduct forest patrol; and
v. To perform any other related duties as assigned by superior.
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of Form Four or Form Six Secondary School certificate of education and a Certificate in Forestry or Wood Industry from a recognized institution.
1.1.3 REMUNERATION:
Within Salary Scale of TFSS 3.
2.0 MZUMBE UNIVERSITY (MU)
Mzumbe University was established by the Mzumbe University Charter 2007, made under section 25 of the Universities Act. No.7 of 2005 which repealed the Mzumbe University Act No. 21 of 2001. Mzumbe University is a Public University and operates under the Ministry of Education Science and Technology. The University has over 50 years of experience in Training Management, Administration of Justice and Good Governance.
2.1 ASSISTANT MEDICAL OFFICER II- (1 POST)
2.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. To handle general diseases;
ii. To give direct medical care to patients;
iii. To assign responsibilities to clinical officers;
iv. To make Ward Rounds; and
v. To perform any other related duties as assigned by superior.
2.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized Institution and must have been registered with Tanganyika Medical Board.
2.1.3 Remuneration:
Within the Salary Scale of PMGSS 6.1
2.1.4 ARTISAN (plumbing) II - (1 POST)
2.1.5 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. To perform more challenging craft jobs under close supervision;
ii. To perform routine technical cleaning of the work environment; iii. To collect and take care of tools and equipment;
iv. To carry out minor repairs, maintenance and report all other problems; and
v. To perform any other related duties as assigned by superior.
2.1.6 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of Form IV/VI Examination Certificate plus Trade Test Grade I (plumbing) from a recognized institution.

3.0 THE OCEAN ROAD CANCER INSTITUTE (ORCI)
The Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) is located along the Indian Ocean about 200 meters from the beach. Ocean Road cancer Institute have been established and provides cancer treatment programs in order to completely cure or significantly prolong the life of patients undergoing treatment sessions at the hospital. ORCI recognize and adhere to the WHO standards in cancer treatment, and treatment programs effectively:
3.1 MEDICAL PHYSICIST TRAINEE – 1 POST
3.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To assist in developing treatment plan to patients;
ii. To assist in calculation of dosage to be delivered by radiotherapy equipment;
iii. To assist in carry out patient chart checks and dose verification;
iv. To support, develop and oversee implementation of quality assurance procedures and programs for therapy and related equipment;
v. To assist in conducting mound room activities including fabrication of shielding blocks and fixations; and
vi. To perform other related duties as assigned by his/her superior.
3.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science with Education majoring in physics and Mathematics
3.1.3 REMUNERATION:
Attractive Remuneration package in accordance with the institution salary scale.
4.0 ARUSHA TECHNICAL COLLEGE (ATC)
Arusha Technical College (ATC) is an autonomous institution established by the Government Notice No.78 of 30th March, 2007 that replaced by then Technical College of Arusha that existed since 1978. The vision of ATC is to be a premier provider of demand-driven Training, Research and Consultancy through Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) for sustainable development.
4.1 ASSISTANT LECTURER (TRANSPORT ENGINEERING) – 1 POST (READVERTISED)
4.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To teach up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);
ii. To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises;
iii. To conduct research, seminars and case studies;
iv. To carry out consultancy and community services under supervision;
v. To supervise students projects;
vi. To prepare teaching manual; and
vii. To perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
4.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree either in Civil and Transportation, Highway, Transportation,
Geotechnical Engineering or Land Survey and Geometrics with GPA of at least 3.8 and
Bachelor’s degree either in Civil and Transportation, Highway, Transportation,
Geotechnical Engineering or Land Survey and Geometrics with GPA of 3.5 and above.
4.1.3 REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the institutions salary.
4.1.4 ASSISTANT LECTURER (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) – 1 POST (READVERTISED)
4.1.5 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Master’s degree either in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering or Oil and Gas Processing Engineering with GPA of at least 3.8 and Bachelor’s degree either Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering or Oil and Gas Processing Engineering with GPA of 3.5 and above.
4.1.7 REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the institutions salary.
