After waiting for so long, today  the Tanzania's Higher Education Students's has officially released the names of the beneficiaries. The total names released are for the FIRST BATCH, thus Other BATCHES are underway.

A total of 450 Billion Tanzania's shillings has been allocated for the students in need for the academic year 2019/20120 !

Beneficiaries include; 128,285 Students of which 45,000 students are the fresh prospective students ( new applicants ) and the the rest 83,285 are for continuing ones.

All details were revealed today by the HESLB Director General, Mr Abdul-Razaq Badru when briefing the Journalists.

Previously, he said a total of 45,000 first year students applied for the loans, a number exceeding the 41,285 students who applied last year.

Only a total of 30,675 students are successful that will be disbursed a total of 125 Billions.
